Finding the Code on VELUX Windows

On a VELUX roof window, the type plate shows both the window type and the window size. For example, a common reference looks like GGL M08 or GGU MK08. You’ll need to enter both parts when ordering a blind.

If You Can’t Find the Code

If the type plate is missing or unreadable, you can still determine the size of your window using our size chart. Measure the internal glass width and height in millimetres, then check the charts below for the corresponding code.

Keylite Roof Windows

Itzala value blinds are also suitable for Keylite roof windows. Unlike VELUX, Keylite’s type plate shows only a production code, not the window size. This makes it harder to know which blind you need.

To find the correct blind size for a Keylite window:

• Open your window and measure the internal glass width and height (in mm).
• Use the table below to match your measurements to the corresponding RoofLITE/DAKEA code.
• Order the blind using that RoofLITE/DAKEA code for a perfect fit.

Other Roof Window Brands

Itzala blinds also fit a range of other popular roof window brands, including Fakro, Dakea, and RoofLITE. Each of these manufacturers has its own type plate system, usually located at the top of the sash. If your window type plate does not show the size, simply measure the glass area and consult our size charts to find the matching blind code.
